Google officially announced the Android 7.1.2 Nougat and it will be rolling out to the public with beta. So, the testers with the compatible devices can update to the latest build.
Google will roll out the Android Nougat 7.1.2 update to the following devices.
- Google Pixel
- Google Pixel XL
- Nexus 5X
- Nexus Player
- Pixel C
If you have the device, then enroll to the Android Beta Program, ones you done it you will receive update via OTA in few hours. However, Google says the Nexus 6P will receive the update soon.
Well, you should not expect lots of new features in the latest update. As the new update will be a fixed maintenance release, which will be focused on removed impurity. Which will include a number of bug fixes, optimizations and some small enhancements for carriers and users. This is the only description Google gave for this new version, So, we have to wait and see what specifications has changed in the new update by Google.
And if you don’t want to update via Android Beta Program, then you download and flash the images.
