The social network giant Facebook continuously testing new features on the Messenger platform, in the latest update the company brings stories like feature with a name called Messenger Day.
The Messenger Day allows you to add photo or video and it will automatically disappear after 24 hours, which is stories like feature. It also allows your friends to see and reply to the photo or video which you have uploaded, and you can also delete the media before the period of 24 hours if you want.
Once you updated the Facebook Messenger app, you can get started by heading into the full screen camera or by ticking ‘My Day’ in your inbox. Now here you can add photo or video, after which you can add effects. Once you are happy with the effects, you can share the photo or video to your Day, you can save it on your device or you can also send it to someone or a group of someones.
The app also allows you to add photo or video to your Day, directly from a conversation with a friend. And Facebook also giving users control over who can see the Days, which is similar to how you can control your post visibility. The all new Messenger Day feature is started to rolling out to Android and IOS platforms from today, so keep an eye for the latest update of the Messenger app.
