Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV is not new stuffs for anyone, but now a new report suggesting that Amazon is all set to reveal two new siblings of both the Fire Stick and Fire TV soon.

 

According to source, Amazon will announce two new streaming devices soon, and the source also says that the upcoming devices will be a mid-tier Fire TV device and a top-tier set-top box.

The all new mid-tier device will be an HDMI dongle which will look similar to the Google’s Chromecast. you will able to plug directly into the HDMI port of your TV and it will also support for 4K HDR video at 60 FPS. The device will be powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, and it is paired with 2 GB of RAM, along with Mali 450 GPU. It has 8 GB internal storage just like other Fire TV devices.

 

Speaking about the second device, it is a cube-shaped set-top box which will able to integrate far-field microphones and an IR transmitter. This device will also output 4K HDR at 60 FPS and will be powered by the Alexa integration and the ability to control other devices of the user’s home. Going through the design of the set-top box, at the top of the box you will see volume and mute buttons along with an action button to start the assistant.

 

The device will also have the blue LED light bar, with the microphones built into the cube or the voice-enabled remote, user’s will be able to start the digital assistant Alexa whenever it needed and get a response either through your television speakers or from the cube’s built-in speakers.

 

Regarding the pricing and availability of the devices, right now there is no information available about the pricing and availability of both the devices.
