YouTube the world’s most favourite video viewing and sharing platform, getting new style as Google revamped YouTube with new logo and design. With the latest update the logo ditches the red color inside the “Tube” part of the name, and placed ‘play icon’ to the left-hand side of the YouTube name.
According to Google, the new change will allow YouTube logo to work better ‘across a variety of devices, even on the tiniest screens’. The Mountain View company is also rolling out new design of the YouTube to everyone, the new design was available from some time but it was limited to beta users only. However, now it will be available for both desktop and mobile users.
The desktop version of YouTube now officially has a look based on material design, and it will also have a dark theme. Speaking about the mobile app, the new update will include a new bottom navigation bar and it will also allow videos to fill the screen even if it is formatted in horizontally, vertically or in square. The YouTube mobile app users can also able to speed up or slow down the playback of a video with this all new update.
The Mountain View company has announced that in a future update, it will add support for quickly switching between videos. But there is no word about the availability of the feature.
