​WhatsApp for iOS gains new features

WhatsApp has rolled out an update on the iOS platform, and the latest update features some filters to customize images, improved photo viewing in chats, and a new shortcut for quick reply. The iOS app of WhatsApp now has big difference from the Android with the three new features. Let’s have a look.
  

Filters – iOS users can now add one out of five filters to their photos, videos, and GIFs from within WhatsApp to make pictures looks extraordinary. The five filters are Pop, B&W, Cool, Film and Chrome. To add these filters you need to go to the recipient’s chat, select the image and swipe up to view the various filters and apply it to send.

Albums – We have updated about this feature earlier, and now the feature is official for the WhatsApp iOS app. With this feature, users sends four or more photos or videos, WhatsApp will now automatically group them into an album under a tile layout. Automatic albums adds multiple photos to an album thus saving your space and scrolling time. Recipients can open the album and view the media.

Shortcuts – shortcuts for quick reply enables iOS users to reply to specific individuals in chats by swiping right on a specific text. This feature is added to avoid misunderstandings between chats .You can reply to a specific message in a thread by swiping on it to answer individual queries.
