The social networking giant Facebook, continuously making new changes into its messaging application. In the latest bid, the company has added new features like filters, reactions and more masks to the video chats of the Facebook Messenger. Let’s check it out in detail.
Reactions
The reaction is not a new on Facebook now, it is the same five emoji icons which we use on Messenger and the main Facebook app- which are love, haha, wow, sad and angry. Now you can use these reactions to react on your video chatting, and this emotions will animate on the screen and then it will disappear. The company says, that the reactions will have different animations according to your face on the screen. So, this is really a great addition and those who do a lot of video chatting on the Facebook platform will love this.
Filters
With the new Filters, you can lightning or even change the colour of your entire screen. All you need to click the paint drop icon and you will be able to live preview of every filter.
More Masks
Masks are another feature which Facebook Messenger take on the Snapchat’s face filters, the masks have hidden effect and it will react according to the user’s facial moments. Facebook has added a lot more mask and effects, such as falling hearts and twinkling stars, all these you can get by tapping on the Star icon.
Screenshots
The screenshot feature is the another new addition into the Messenger video chat, with this feature you can easily take screenshot of your video chat and share it with others. You just need to tap on the camera icon and it will take a screenshot of your video chat, it can be possible whether it is an individual chat or a group chat. After taking the screenshot, it will give you an option to delete or share it even without leaving the video chat screen, which means now onwards you can take those funny moments and share immediately with your other friends who did not able to join you in the video chat.
