Airtel named for the fastest wireless carrier in India, in a study conducted by OpenSignal declares Airtel gives the fastest speed download on both 3G and 4G networks.
OpenSignal conducted survey was based on 1.3 billion measurements from 93,464 users on the major wireless networks between the period of December 2016 and February 2017. According to that survey OpenSignal declare Airtel the fastest network, Airtel provides average 4G speed at 11.5 Mbps, Vodafone comes at the second place with 8.59 Mbps, followed by idea which provides at 8.34 Mbps, and the newcomer Reliance Jio placed at the fourth spot with 3.92 Mbps only.
The survey gives us more information about the four main 4G network, Jio is the slowest but 91.6% users were able see the 4G signal from the network. Idea secured at second spot with 59.45%, Vodafone comes to the third spot with 59.05%, and the winner of the download speed Airtel is at the fourth place with 54.72%.
Now speaking about the delay in data transfer, Vodafone secures first place with smallest delay on the 4G networks, at 54.27 ms, Idea is at the second spot with 61.34 ms, Airtel at the third place with 63.86 ms and the Jio at the fourth place with the 86.61 ms.
Moreover, the average download speed in India are still very slow all of the carriers are well below from the current 17.4 Mbps.
