The lights of festival Diwali of this year is going to be special for Smartphone lovers, as report suggest that Airtel is planning to launch 4G enabled smartphone across the country for just ₹2,500.
The report also suggest that the Airtel will give large amounts of data and voice minutes with the device, and this is the new strategy by the India’s popular telecom operator to defend the Jio Storm. As we know since the Reliance Jio launched we are getting lots of offers from various telecom operators, to retain their users. And recently the Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance has launched feature phone which is enabled 4G and it is effectively free of cost. To defend the impact of that particular device Airtel coming up with the new 4G enabled smartphone for this price.
It is to be known that the company is in advance talk with the smartphone manufacturers like Karbonn and Lava to make the device in reality, it will be promoted by the Airtel along with the manufacturer but it won’t be subsidized by the telecom operator.
The device would be powered by Android Go OS, and it will allow users to download any of their desired applications from the Google Play Store. In terms of quality, Airtel smartphone is said to have bigger screen, better camera, and better performance than a feature phone.
Well, Airtel is not only the telecom operator who is going to launch 4G enabled smartphone for cheap rate. Idea cellular also announced that they are joining their hands with smartphone manufacturers to counter the JioPhone.
All these reports suggest that the smartphone users will going to have a great time ahead, with the launch of low price 4G enabled devices in the country.
