The French smartphone makers Alcatel unveiled a new device at the CES 2019 show and the device is called Alcatel 1X (2019), it is the successor of Alcatel 1x Android Oreo (Go edition) smartphone which the company launched in last year at the MWC event. Being a successor, the new smartphone is coming with improvements. Specification of Alcatel 1X (2019)
The Alcatel 1X (2019) sports 5.5 inch HD+ 2.5D curved Glass display and has 1440 X 720 pixels resolution along with 18:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core MediaTek MT6739ww processor and paired with 2GB RAM. The device has 16 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 128 GB via MicroSD card.
In terms of camera, the device rocks dual camera setup at the back and that is in the combination of 13 MP (f/2.0) + 2 MP (f/2.4 aperture, depth-sensing) with Bokeh Effect, Night Mode, EIS, Re-focus and LED flash, along with a 5 MP front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and Face Beautification. The device also supports fingerprint scanner for the security of the users.
Regarding the connectivity options, it supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and micro USB 2.0. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and ships on 3,000 mAh battery.
Pricing and availability of Alcatel 1X (2019)
It is priced at $120 (approx. ₹8,460) and the device will be available in selected markets from Q1 of 2019, there is no information about the availability of the device in the Indian market.
