The e-commerce giant Amazon is currently testing a new subscription service dubbed Amazon Prime Lite in India and the same is coming with an affordable price tag as well. The new subscription service is offering identical services to Amazon Prime but there are some major differences between them as well. So without making any further delay let’s dive into the article to check out more about the new subscription service of Amazon in India.
The beta version of its new subscription service is having a price tag of ₹999 per year. For this amount, the Amazon Prime Lite subscription service is offering nearly identical benefits and services to Amazon Prime. But it will not offer access to Amazon Prime Music and the new Amazon Prime Lite users will not be eligible for no-cost EMI, free ebooks, or Prime Gaming.
Amazon Prime Lite offers Two-Day delivery on products, as opposed to Amazon Prime’s Same-Day or One-Day delivery. Amazon Prime Lite users can access unlimited content on Prime Video but it will not offer HD format and will contain advertisements. It will enable you to watch content simultaneously on two devices, one of which must be a mobile phone.
We don’t know when the company will announce a subscription service officially in the country but it is expected to be announced in the near future.
