The e-Commerce giant Amazon has updated its tablet series with the launch of new Fire HD 10 and Fire HD 10 Kids Edition. Both the devices are coming with identical specifications, it also comes with the Amazon powered applications such as Prime Video and more along with its digital assistant Alexa. Let’s start with the new Fire HD 10, the device sports a 10.1-inch FHD display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and offers vivid image quality. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by eight-core CPU clocked at 2.0 GHz, and the device is paired with 2GB RAM along with 32GB as well as 64GB, which can be expandable upto 512GB with a microSD card. Moreover, it also offers unlimited cloud storage.
Moving to the photography department, the new Fire HD 10 rocks 2 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera. The company also claims that the new device will offer 12 hours of battery with reading, browsing, and watching videos and the device also offers 9W fast charging.
The device runs on Amazon’s Fire OS and it also features dual-band Wi-Fi support, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and Dolby Atmos support.
On the other hand, Fire HD 10 Kids Edition features the same features but the same also has a special protective case with a built-in stand as well as two-year damage protection. That’s not all, it also comes with free FreeTime parental control and kids content app.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the Fire HD 10 starts at $149.99, while the Kids edition will cost $199.99. Both of them will available by October 30.
The company has also unveiled the Kindle Kids Edition, it features 6-inch e-paper display with backlight and 8GB storage. It also supports a special protective case and a two-year worry-free guarantee. The company also offers free kids content through the FreeTime app. The device will cost $109.99 and it will available by October 30.
