Google is ready to release Android O, which was announced at the Google I/O 2017 event. And Google’s very own devices get the update before everyone else, the source says that the Google Pixel will be the first to taste the official update of Android O, and the update will hit on devices in August.

Google has already rolled out the Android O Beta Program for eligible Pixel devices like Pixel, Pixel XL and Pixel C and Nexus devices including Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player. If you participated in the Android N Beta Program, you will not automatically get the Android O beta, you will still need to sign up to participate in Android O beta.
Google has announced the best Android O features such as notification badges, notification channels, tuners, wi-fi aware, refreshed file manager, fingerprint gestures, Google Play Protect, Picture-In-Picture (PIP), new emoji’s and improved battery life and battery settings, but there are some special ones that have gone overlooked, such as the gathering of notification icons at the bottom of the notification shade.
Google has usually waited until August to roll out the new Android system update that comes named after a dessert and starts with the next alphabet in line. We still don’t know what dessert “O” will arrive as, but there are a few rumours claiming that Google will name it “Android Oreo” after the beloved Oreo Cookie.
