A few months ago, we updated that ByteDance which is the parent company of the popular social media application TikTok will launch its own music streaming application in the market of India. Well, now the company is started to test its own music streaming app called Resso in India.
With the new Resso, the company is all set to give a head to head competition with other popular music streaming applications such as Spotify and more. The application currently live on the Google Play Store as well as App Store and that is in the beta version, the application will available in India along with Indonesia.
The proud owner of TikTok has launched the application by collaborating with India’s popular music company’s such as T-Series and Times Music and it is also working to expand the portfolio with big players like Universal Music Group as well as Sony Music Entertainment.
Speaking about the user interface of the new Resso application, it is pretty straightforward as the interface will offer recommended artists and shareable playlists on all the popular social media apps. Moreover, the application is also coming with the community set up, as you can able to see the video of a song along with automatic scrolling lyrics and the users can also able to upload photos, videos, or GIFs to accompany tracks. That’s not all, the application also allows users to subscribe to other user’s channels and this will allow them to connected and stay updated with all.
Just like any other music streaming app, the new Resso app is also coming with free as well as a premium account. The free account will come with advertisements and the premium account will give high-quality music experience without the advertisements. Regarding the pricing of the premium account, it will cost only ₹119. It is worth to mention that, at this moment of time you will find the library very small but it will be wide in the coming months.
