The semiconductors are the essential factor of Smartphones or any other electronic products and China is leading globally and we know that the pandemic as well as the on going US sanction has made a pressure on China in this sector. Now we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that China is facing even more tough challenges in the sector, as Japan and the Netherlands joins their hand with the United States.
If the United States has the biggest group of Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDM) for semiconductors, then Japan is having Advantest (a leading manufacturer of automatic test equipment (ATE) for the semiconductor industry), and Netherlands ASML (a leading supplier to the semiconductor industry that provides chipmakers with hardware, software, and services to mass produce the patterns of integrated circuits) are also major players in this sector.
China needs the support of the countries to bring the most advanced semiconductor but now it is reported that Japan and Netherlands are joining with the United States. We know that the US sanction limits the exports and it also restrict to work with chinese chip makers. If Japan and Netherlands follow the same then the life will not be easy for China in this sector.
