Dell has revealed its plans to unveil new Latitude Series laptops during CES 2021. The company will refresh its popular series with new models for the Latitude 9000, 7000 and 5000 laptops. The 9000 Series laptop will be powered by the latest 11th Generation CPUs from Intel.
Speaking of the Latitude 9000 Series, these laptops especially 9420 and 9520 laptops will get webcams that focus on privacy as these get a SafeShutter camera which will automatically shut the camera when not in use. So when the camera is idle say, not on skype or zoom calls it closes itself off and the lid covers the camera.
Preparing the new laptops for the Electronic Show, Dell has informed that the Latitude 9000 Series will come in both clamshell and 2-in-1 design to suit work from home and online classes needs. These bring in a better quality camera and louder speakers. As of now, we know that the Dell Latitude 9420 will start at $1,949 and will start shipping this spring whereas the Latitude 9520 pricing and availability details will be revealed during the consumer show.
The 7000-Series, particularly the 7520 would offer a 15-inch screen with 4K UHD resolution alongside an optional Full HD web camera. Priced at $1,649 these would be officially launched on January 12. Coming to the Latitude 5420 and Precision 3560, these are made with eco-friendly materials from bioplastic forming the lids. Moreover, these are priced at $1,049 and $1,189 respectively and will be revealed formally during CES.
