The two social media giants Facebook and Instagram were down for maintenance as both desktop users and App users faced issues uploading newsfeed.
Facebook and Instagram were down for few minutes as users cannot do their regular uploads for some time. Facebook showed “ We are unable to post your update.” Due to some maintenance issue followed by two options- Edit post and Report a problem. For desktop users, Error message was displayed as There was a problem updating your status. Please try again in a few minutes.” The issue also made users not able to Like or comment on any posts.
This issue affected US, Uk, Australia, Japan and South East Asia.The Facebook owned Instagram, also faced the same issue as Instagram users also not able to get updates or refresh their feed. Images were also not posted on the site as server went down with an error message”Photo wasn’t posted”.
