The social giant Facebook allows to send and receive money from Facebook Messenger since 2015, and now Facebook sharpening the tool to introduce group payments in Facebook Messenger.
Till now Facebook Messenger allowed to transfer between two people, but now the company has updated the Messenger app to bring Group Payments. With this feature you will be able to send and receive money in groups as well.
With this feature you can send or ask money by creating a new group chat or going through into the already existing group, then tap on the ‘+’ sign at the bottom of the screen (which is located at the left corner). And then tap on the $ icon with ‘payments’, after that choose a friend to whom you want to send or ask for the money.
After selecting the friend or friends just enter the amount and mention the reason, after you have done all these steps. Then just tap on the ‘Request’, button and that’s it you have done it. In the group conversation you will able to see who has paid the money and didn’t payed yet.
Right now this feature is only available in the US, and there is no information available about availability of the in other parts of the world. Let’s wait and hope that Facebook will roll out this feature to around the globe at the earliest.
