The company has opened doors for the third-party developers to create AR effects to the camera of Instagram. Well, this will allow users to get even more AR effects on Instagram than ever before. Brands like Ray-Ban will release an AR effect which will allow users to try on sunglasses, or maybe Marvel will publish different superhero AR masks for you to try on. It has already implemented third-party filters from Kylie Jenner, Buzzfeed, Vogue, the NBA and more.

Hide Like Counts

The developers of Instagram has started testing a new feature which will allow users to hide like counts, the company is testing the feature with the users of Canada. This feature will allow the original poster to view and get the complete information i.e. like counts but the users who follow will not able to see the like counts.

Buy Products

Instagram started to allow users to purchase products from the Instagram app itself, and now the developers introduce a new feature which will allow you to purchase products which your favourite celebrity uses. The developers enables the ability to the celebrity to tag products in their posts, and that will allow you to buy whatever they may be wearing directly from the app.
