A couple of days ago, we came across a report which suggested that Amazon is gearing up to offer free music service to the Echo devices, and ahead of them, the Mountain View company Google started to offer the free music service to the Google Home devices. Well, today Amazon started to offer free music streaming service to the users who own the Alexa powered speakers.
Amazon has announced that users will get free access to the Amazon Prime music service for free of cost and service will be available with advertisements. Currently, the service is available only in the United States and the users can able to enjoy free music on Amazon Echo products.
Having said that, the free version will not work like the premium setup even it ships with the advertisements. In the free version, it allows playing stations, which means you can ask Alexa to play music from an artist or genre and it will play a station, which is basically a playlist.
