The search engine giant Google hinted to reduce the gap between Android and ChromeOS and today the company has announced a new feature called the App Streaming and the same will enable Chromebook users to access Android applications on the board. The new implementation will enable users of Chromebooks running ChromeOS 114 will enable you to access and utilize various Android apps from the phones within a dedicated window.
To experience the new feature, you need to switch to the Beta Channel and install ChromeOS 114 and the Phone Hub to integrate between Android phones and Chromebooks. App Streaming is currently compatible only with the “Pixel 4A and higher” running Android 13 or later. Non-Pixel users can still enjoy this feature with the Xiaomi 12T, 12T Pro, 13, and 13 Pro, also running Android 13 or later.
Both the phone and Chromebook must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and in close proximity to each other to enable App Streaming.
