Technology behemoth Google gives a much needed touch to its mobile homepage and search much-needed. The mobile site revamp, which is now live for Android and iOS users that are logged in via their Google account, uses the same rounded UI design Google has been testing for a while.
The revamp includes a curved edge search box and several other things which eases the search process further. Link text and titles have been tweaked ever so slightly, with the blue shifting to a softer, lighter shade than before. In addition, the gray backgrounds we’ve gotten used to for so long now match the bright white cards in the foreground.
As of now, this revamp has just been given to the search bar in the browser section. Obviously, we may well see this widening into the Google search app in the near future.
