The Mountain View company Google previously offered the Dark Web Monitoring as a paid service but now the company has announced that the same will be available for all the users. The feature will be available to everyone in the Google accounts by the end of this month.
For those who are not aware, the Dark Web is an encrypted online network and the same is difficult to access with traditional search engines. These networks are sometimes used for illegal activities and the same will also feature leaked personal information from data breaches.
The Dark Web Monitoring will be capable of scanning these hidden corners of the internet for your personal details including name, address, email address, and phone number. If the scanning mechanism obtains any information about you then Google will notify you and suggest steps to take.
