The Nokia owned HMD Global already launched many smartphones in this year, and now it seems that the company is working on a new smartphone which will include the in-display fingerprint scanner technology, which we have seen on the Vivo X21 for the first time.
According to the source, HMD Global is working on a device with manufacturing partner Foxconn and the smartphone would be similar to the Nokia 8 Sirocco. The source also says that they got their hands on few documents which give the details about the device. The source also claims that the device will sport an OLED display panel from the South Korean electronics brand LG, and it will support the in-display fingerprint scanner along with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 845 processor. Having said that, if this information turns out true then we will witness for the first Nokia device with the Snapdragon 835 processor.
Apart from this, the device may come with the final version of the upcoming Android P operating system as the source speculate that the device will launch at the IFA 2018 event which starts in September. Furthermore, the source also says that the device will be called as Nokia 9.
So, that’s all the information we have at this moment. But all the surfaced information sounds promising.
