Back in April last year, the Chinese communication giant Huawei’s sub-brand Honor unveiled a smartphone Honor 8A Pro and now the company has relaunched the smartphone under a moniker, the device is now dubbed as Honor 8A Prime. The company has got the device in Russia and it comes with a new colour option – Emerald Green.
Specifications of Honor 8A Prime
The smartphone sports a 6.09 inch HD+ display with 1560 X 720 pixels resolution along with a 1959 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor and paired by 3 GB of RAM, along with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of storage, the device has 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via Micro SD card upto 512 GB.
Moving to the photography department, the device features a 13 megapixel rear camera with f1.8 aperture and LED flash along with an 8 megapixel front facing camera, the device also supports the fingerprint scanner.
In terms of the connectivity options, you will get 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11bgn, Bluetooth 4.2, and a Micro-USB 2.0 port. The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie with EMUI 9.0, and ships on 3,020 mAh battery.
Pricing and availability
The Honor 8A Pro is priced at RUB9,990 and the brand also offers freebies for the first few people and that includes a selfie stick, Honor Band 4 or Honor Sport Bluetooth earbuds.
