Honor 8A Unveiled With 6 Inch Display And More

The Chinese smartphone brand Huawei’s sub-brand Honor unveiled some amazing smartphones in the budget category in last year. Well, now it seems that the company continuous it’s offering in the budget category, as the company launched a new device called Honor 8A in the Chinese market. The device sports some really nice design and specifications. Specification of Honor 8A

The smartphone sports a 6.09 inch HD+ display and has 1560 X 720 pixels resolution and the device also sports a waterdrop-like notch on the top of the display. It is powered by 1.8 GHz Octa Core Helio P35 processor and paired with 3 GB of RAM. Talking about the storage options, the device has 32 GB/64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable upto 512 GB via MicroSD card.

Coming to the photography department of the device, it has a single rear camera of 13 megapixel with f/1.8 aperture, phase-detection autofocus (PDAF), LED flash and that supports an automatic HDR feature, the device also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro USB 2.0, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Honor 8A runs EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and the device ships on a 3,020 mAh battery to keep the lights on.

Pricing and availability of Honor 8A

The pricing of the smartphone starts at CNY 799 (approx. ₹8,000), the device will be available from January 8 in the Chinese market and there is no information about the availability of the device in other parts of the world.
