Honor has officially introduced its new gaming smartphone called the Honor GT and the device is launched with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor. The Honor GT comes with a sleek and lightweight design and the device features a flat design with rounded corners. The device comes with a rectangular camera island on the back and the same houses two lens along with an LED flash. The back panel of the device also features a “GT” branding.
It comes with a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 2664 x 1200 pixels resolution and it supports 1.07 billion colors. It also comes with the DCI-P3 wide color gamut along with up to 4000 nits of local peak brightness and 1200 nits of global peak brightness. The device also comes with eye protection features including 3840Hz PWM zero-risk dimming, low blue light, and adaptive dimming.
The new Honor GT has the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device also comes with a sophisticated 3D Natural Circulation Cooling System, and the device runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0 out of the box.
It also supports multiple AI features including the YOYO Intelligent Body that offers personalized recommendations and optimizations, the device also features the Glory Phantom Engine that enhances AI rendering, display separation, and power efficiency. The device also comes with features such as AI face recognition, AI photography, smart multi-window, and multi-screen collaboration.
The latest Honor GT houses a large 5300mAh battery along with 100W Honor Super Fast Charge technology. Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest HONOR GT has a starting price of 2,199 yuan and the device is available in the markets of China. The first sale of the device will start on December 24.
