It is officially confirmed that the Honor Magic 5 series and Magic Vs foldable smartphone will be official on February 27 at the upcoming MWC event. The event will start at 13:30 CET and will also be live-streamed as well which means you can witness the official announcement of the devices.
The upcoming Honor Magic 5 series is expected to include three Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphones- a vanilla Magic 5, a higher-end Magic 5 Pro, and a top-of-the-line Magic 5 Prestige Edition.
Honor Magic 5 series is expected to feature a 6.8-inch OLED LPTO panel with 1Hz-120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming, 480Hz touch sampling rate; HDR10+, and up to 1100nits of brightness. The smartphone series should be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 5.0 storage.
On the other hand, the Magic Vs foldable smartphone was already announced in China last year and the same features a sleek design. The device features an improved gearless hinge, crafted with single-piece casting technology. The device is having a 7.9 internal foldable OLED display along with a 90Hz refresh rate, and more.
