Honor has officially confirmed to launch the new folding device dubbed the Honor Magic V5 on July 2. Today the CEO of the company has teased the upcoming device and said to be the thinnest and the lightest folding phone. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
According to CEO George Zhao, the upcoming Honor Magic V5 will be the world’s lightest and thinnest foldable smartphone. He did not reveal the exact dimensions of the device but it is expected to feature a measurement of approximately 8mm when unfolded and weigh between 210 and 219 grams.
It is also said that the device will come with the most advanced AI features. The device will be supporting a full-stack personal knowledge system, multi-agent AI collaboration, PC-level productivity, and seamless connectivity across all Honor devices.
The upcoming Honor Magic V5 is expected to feature a 7.95-inch 2K+ LTPO inner display and a 6.45-inch outer screen. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset and it will house a large 6,100mAh battery. The device will be coming with a title of the largest battery seen on a foldable phone. It will support 80W wired charging and wireless charging. The phone is believed to come with a 200-megapixel primary camera, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Beidou satellite messaging support.
