Smartphone makers have begun to move from the typical candy bar form to making phones that are foldable. Several OEMs are admittedly working on foldable at the moment. Now we have Honor who is reportedly working on a foldable smartphone under the Magic Series.
Earlier this week, a post was shared on Weibo, a Chinese microblogging website by @长安数码君 indicating that the company is indeed working on a foldable. Interestingly, Huawei the ex-parent of Honor already has a foldable under the Huawei Mate X moniker. In addition, Honor is also working on flagships similar to the P and Mate Series from Huawei. The guidance and experience from its ex-parent would certainly come to play here.
It is noteworthy that Honor wasted no time after the split to release their own flagship called Honor V40, which is an indication on the bright future ahead for the company. At the moment no other details regarding the foldable and future plans of the company have come into the light. But make sure to stick around to learn more about them as soon as the word is out.
