Honor has launched its new smartphone in the market of China and it is dubbed as Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition. The company has launched the smartphone with very thin design and it is also coming with the curved display. It is running on the older version of the Android operating system and that is a disappointing element. Specifications of Honor V40 Light Luxury Edition

The latest smartphone of the company is just 7.64mm thick and weighs about 169 grams and the device features a 6.57 inch curved OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate and features a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. It is also coming with customizable always on display and offers 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor along with an 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone arrives with the 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage.

Speaking about the camera department, the smartphone features a quad rear camera setup and it is in the combination of a 64 megapixel, followed by an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, along with a 2 megapixel macro sensor, and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. It is also coming with 32 megapixel front camera.

The smartphone has a 3,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging and the handset supports 5G networking, with dual card standby along with Link Turbo support as well. It is also coming with Bluetooth, USB Type-C port among other features for the connectivity. The handset runs Android 10 based Magic UI 4.0 out of the box.

Pricing and availability

The 8GB RAM + 128GB variant is available for 2,999 Yuan, while the 8GB RAM + 256GB variant for 3,299 Yuan and the device will available in the market of China from March 26.
