The upcoming smartphone from the Chinese brand Honor has come into the limelight with some interesting design choices. The Honor V40, which is the smartphone that has been leaked is expected to come with a dual punch-hole display and a curved display.
Speaking of the display, it will have an 80-degree curved display aimed to provide an immersive experience to the users by reducing the prominence of the side bezels. According to the previously leaked information, the device will have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, we have the mockup of the screen which comes with a dual-punch hole screen where the selfie camera cut out appears to be smaller than the previous models.
The smartphone was leaked at first via the 3C Certification site is tipped to come with a 66W fast charging technology coupled with 40W wireless charging. It was first speculated to launch this month, but the date has been pushed to January of 2021. We also have the renders of its rear camera design which depicts a circular module resembling the face of a watch. The rear primary camera might the Sony IMX700 RYYB sensor.
The Honor V40 is shaping up to be a promising smartphone as per the leaked information. This would be the first smartphone from the company since it split from its parent, Huawei. If Honor manages to continue its streak we might soon see the brand picking up from where it left off.
