The Chinese electronics brand, Huawei has launched the Children’s Watch 4X New Shining Edition in an event held today. It is essentially the same as that of the Children’s Watch 4X from the company but with a new design. It sports a reflecting woven strap that catches the sunlight and illuminates, creating a unique look.

There are two camera units in the smartwatch which are a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. These cameras are capable of shooting slow-motion videos, face recognition and performing video calls. One important aim of this camera is to help parents monitor their children.
It helps parents track children accurately with the 11-fold AI, GPS and Huawei’s NLT technology. It offers WeChat support and let kids chat in groups or send a message privately. It features water resistance and can survive underwater for up to 50 metres. It has the ability to shoot and record videos underwater.
Regarding the connectivity options, it comes with NFC to facilitate contactless payment, 4G, and VoLTE. The extra feature includes support for Xiaodu voice assistant 3.0. It comes with an 800 mAh battery capable of charging up to 50% in under 20 minutes.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei Children’s Watch 4X New Shining Edition is priced at CNY 1,398 ($271) and is already available for purchase via Huawei Mall and other major stores across China. It is available in Nebula Blue and Nebula Purple colours.
