The company is also launching its new products and recently it introduced the flagship smartphone series called Huawei P50 series and the same is coming with heavy specifications on the board. Now the company has confirmed to host an event next month.
Huawei will host an event on October 21 but the company did not reveal what products they are going to announce during the upcoming event but it is likely a global event to announce the latest and greatest flagship smartphone series.
Specifications of Huawei P50 Pro
The latest and greatest Huawei P50 Pro features a 6.6-inch full-HD+ OLED curved display with 1,228×2,700 pixels resolution along with 120Hz refresh rate, and a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. It also features a 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 450ppi pixel density, and P3 wide colour gamut coverage.
The smartphone is powered by two processor options – HiSilicon Kirin 9000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 along with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. The device also coming with the Nano Memory card for storage expansion.
Speaking about the camera department, the smartphone features a quad camera setup on the bac and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel primary colour camera with f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS), along with a 40-megapixel monochrome lens with f/1.6 aperture, a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture. It is also coming with 3.5x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. At the front, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture and auto focus support.
Huawei P50 Pro runs on HarmonyOS 2 and the same packs a 4,360mAh battery with 66W Wired Super Fast Charge and 50W Wireless Super Fast Charge, the device also supports the wireless charging. The phone is IP68-rated water and dust resistant as well.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ax, Bluetooth v5.2, USB Type-C port, and NFC. The device also supports an in-display fingerprint sensor along with the traditional security options.

On the other hand, Huawei P50 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ OLED display with 1,224×2,700 pixels resolution along with 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen. The display department of the smartphone also supports 1440Hz high frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 458ppi pixel density, and P3 wide colour gamut coverage.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC, and that is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The device also supports Nano Memory card support for storage expansion.
Coming to the camera department, the device features a triple camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, along with a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/3.4 aperture and OIS. It supports 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom as well. On the front, the device is coming with the same selfie camera as the Pro model.
Huawei P50 runs on HarmonyOS 2 and the device packs a 4,100mAh battery with 66W Wired Super Fast Charge. It is IP68-rated water and dust resistant. The rest of the specifications are the same as the Pro model.
