The Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei having very bad days but the company trying to overcome from all the unwanted situations, and working hard to sustain in the industry. Huawei also making way for new devices as well as making the new announcement, the company has announced its new processor called HiSilicon Kirin 810 aimed at upper mid-range smartphones.
The new chipset is made with TSMC’s 7nm node, and that is used to develop the flagship SoCs like Kirin 980 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Having said that, the latest processor becomes the only mid-range chip to be made using the 7nm process. That’s not all, the announcement of the new Kirin 980 processor makes Huawei the only smartphone brand which has two chipsets manufactured using the 7nm process.
Talking about the all-new Kirin 810 is an octa-core processor and has two high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 cores that clocked at 2.27 GHz and six smaller energy-efficient ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.88 GHz. The new chipset also comes with Mali-G52 MP6 GPU for the graphical task and the brand claims 162% better performance over the predecessor i.e. Kirin 710. And the chipset also backed with the abilities of artificial intelligence.
It will also come with a new setup in the camera department, as chipset offers flagship-grade IVP + ISP with upgraded pixel processing unit, and it will also come with the improved white balance algorithm and noise reduction in RAW image processing. Furthermore, the Kirin 980 also supports DaVinci NPU which is based on the Rubik’s Cube Quantitative Stereo Arithmetic Unit.
Speaking about the availability, the latest The HiSilicon Kirin 810 is at heart of the Huawei nova 5 smartphone and will available in the upcoming mid-range smartphones from Huawei and its sub-brand Honor.
