Action cameras have become increasingly popular among people who love doing various sports activities such as riding bikes or hiking. Insta360 knows the market very well and has decided to step up its game by releasing a couple of compact and sturdy action cameras.
The latest from Insta360, called Insta360 Go 2 is the Insta360 Go 2 is the world’s smallest action camera. It has solved issues that bothered the early versions that include shorter duration of recording, less memory capacity, and so on. Its a thumb-sized magnetic camera and offers staggering improvement in performance over its predecessors.
In terms of clip length, the basic stabilization mode 15 minutes of video can be recorded, with the flowstate stabilization mode up to 10 minutes of footage can be recorded, In comparison, the basic mode allowed only a maximum of 60 seconds in the original Go cam. Other improvements offered include better positioning of the click button on the front, better waterproofing of up to 13 feet and 30 minutes.
The charging case can now be used as both kickstand and a Bluetooth remote. If the camera is attached to the case you will be able to shoot for roughly 2 hours more in basic stabilisation mode. In addition, now the Insta360 Go 2 also comes with extra accessories that can be purchased separately.
The Insta360 Go 2 camera is priced at $300 and can be purchased from Insta360’s website. Furthermore, the company will release a Minions edition of the Go 2 in the latter part of the year that might be sold for around $330.
