Instagram announced an update that your new posts will be shown in the feed. which also prevents feeds from refreshing automatically.
Instagram is trying to fix an error in its previous update that new posts were no longer shown to your top fed and this makes you miss several posts without notice. The new algorithm based feed system will ensure that newer posts are able to show in the feed.
Instagram also announced new feed button in order to keep each and every post in your eyesight. When you tap on this option, the new posts will be visible to you immediately. So that hereafter you will never miss any new posts from your friends.
“Based on your feedback, we’re also making changes to ensure that newer posts are more likely to appear first in feed. With these changes, your feed will feel more fresh, and you won’t miss the moments you care about. So if your best friend shares a selfie from her vacation in Australia, it will be waiting for you when you wake up.” wrote Instagram in a blog post.
Instagram is rolling out the changes via updates and will reach every user within the coming months.
