iQOO 9 and 9 Pro smartphones were officially announced in China last year and the smartphone series is also believed to be announced in the country anytime soon. Having said that, yesterday it was reported that the company will launch the three smartphones in the series – iQOO 9 SE, iQOO 9, and iQOO 9 Pro.
Now the online availability of the upcoming smartphone series has been revealed. The popular shopping website Amazon has created a dedicated page for the upcoming smartphone series and it is enough to believe that the devices will be available via the shopping on the website and it is also part of the Amazon Specials.
Yesterday the YouTuber has revealed information related to the specifications and the pricing of the Indian variants of smartphones. According to the Youtuber, the upcoming iQOO 9 SE smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor while the iQOO 9 will have the Snapdragon 888+ chipset at its heart and iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is also said that the devices will run on the latest Android 12 out of the box and have Funtouch 12 OS on the top.
The source also claims that the iQOO 9 SE will feature a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display while the iQOO 9 will sport a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 10-bit color and the top model iQOO 9 Pro will offer a 6.78-inch QHD+ curved E5 AMOLED display. All the devices will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and gets an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Regarding the camera set up, it is reported that the iQOO 9 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup and that will be in the combination of a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor along with the 50MP ultra wide sensor and a 16MP camera sensor. It is also revealed that the primary sensor of the smartphone will feature gimbal stabilization support and the tertiary lens will have a 2.5x optical zoom support. On the other hand, the upcoming iQOO 9 will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor along with gimbal stabilization support. There is no information about the camera department of the upcoming iQOO 9 SE.
The source has also revealed that there the pricing of the iQOO 9 SE could start at around ₹35,000 in India.
