iQOO 9 and 9 Pro smartphones were officially announced in China last year and the smartphone series recently surfaced online and the source said that the company will launch 3 devices in the country under this particular smartphone series and the upcoming devices – iQOO 9 SE, iQOO 9, and iQOO 9 Pro.
Now the launching date of the smartphone series in India surfaced online and it is reported that the company will launch the devices in the country on February 23.
Separately, the pricing information of the smartphone series surfaced online and it says that the upcoming iQOO 9 will be priced between ₹43,000 and ₹47,000 while the iQOO 9 SE could be priced around ₹35,000 – ₹40,000, and iQOO 9 Pro to cost between ₹55,000 and ₹58,000.
The devices will be available on Amazon India across the country. Previously a popular YouTuber revealed all the important specifications and the pricing of the Indian variants of smartphones. According to the Youtuber, the upcoming iQOO 9 SE smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor while the iQOO 9 will have the Snapdragon 888+ chipset at its heart and iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It is also said that the devices will run on the latest Android 12 out of the box and have Funtouch 12 OS on the top.
iQOO 9 SE will feature a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display while the iQOO 9 will sport a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 10-bit color and the top model iQOO 9 Pro will offer a 6.78-inch QHD+ curved E5 AMOLED display. All the devices will feature a 120Hz refresh rate and gets an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Regarding the camera set up, it is reported that the iQOO 9 Pro will feature a triple rear camera setup and that will be in the combination of a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor along with the 50MP ultra wide sensor and a 16MP camera sensor. It is also revealed that the primary sensor of the smartphone will feature gimbal stabilization support and the tertiary lens will have a 2.5x optical zoom support. On the other hand, the upcoming iQOO 9 will feature a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor along with gimbal stabilization support. There is no information about the camera department of the upcoming iQOO 9 SE.
