iQOO has launched its new iQOO 9 series in the market of India that includes iQoo 9 Pro, iQoo 9, and the iQoo 9 SE. The iQoo 9 Pro is the greatest smartphone in the series and the same is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor. While the vanilla variant of the smartphone series is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 888+ chipset, and the iQoo 9 SE has Snapdragon 888 SoC at its heart. The latest iQOO 9 series is offering many similarities like 120Hz AMOLED displays with a punch-hole setup along with dual stereo speakers, and a triple rear camera setup. The smartphone series is also featuring a dedicated display chip and the same is touted to help enhance mobile gaming. iQoo 9 Pro 

The latest iQoo 9 Pro features a 6.78-inch 2K E5 AMOLED display with a 3D curved glass protection along with low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) 2.0 technology and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate as well as a 300Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.

Speaking about the camera department, the iQoo 9 Pro features a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor along with the ‘Gimbal’ technology and the same is also featuring optical image stabilization (OIS). It is also featuring a 50-megapixel secondary sensor with 150-degree fisheye wide-angle lens and a 16-megapixel portrait sensor with 2.5x optical zoom. The camera department of the device is also featuring a five-axis video image stabilization (VIS) capability. On the front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 lens.

It is featuring a 6.56-inch full-HD+ 10-bit AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888+ mobile processor along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. 

Coming to the camera departmental, it is also coming with a triple rear camera setup on the back and that is in the combination of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary sensor with the ‘Gimbal’ technology along with a 13-megapixel wide-angle/ macro shooter and a 13-megapixel portrait sensor. It is also featuring a 16-megapixel selfie camera. 

Talking about the connectivity options, the device supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is also featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. It also houses a 4,350mAh battery with 120W FlashCharge fast charging. Moreover, the phone comes with a dual X-axis linear motor for better vibration patterns and the same runs on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top.

iQoo 9 SE 

The smartphone offers a 6.62-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. It is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 888 mobile processor along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The smartphone is also coming with a triple camera setup on the back that houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary sensor with an optical image stabilization (OIS) equipped lens along with a 13-megapixel wide-angle/ macro shooter and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. It is also featuring a 16-megapixel front facing camera.

It also supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. The phone also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 66W Flash Charge fast charging support and the same runs on Android 12 with Funtouch OS 12 on top.

Pricing and availability 

iQoo 9 Pro is priced at ₹64,990 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant while the 12GB + 256GB model has a price tag of ₹69,990. On the other hamd, the iQoo 9 starts at ₹42,990 for the 8GB + 128GB model and ₹46,990 for the 12GB + 256GB model. The iQoo 9 SE has a price tag of ₹33,990 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and ₹37,990 for the 12GB + 256GB option.

iQoo 9 Pro and iQoo 9 will go on pre-orders from February 23, while the iQoo 9 SE will be available for pre-orders from March 2. The devices will be available for purchase on Amazon India in the country but there is no information on the exact availability date.
