The device is covered in a recycled, soft-touch fabric and features two buttons at the top that controls the volume as the device is also work as speaker. The bottom part sports a power jack and a microphone mute switch.
Lenovo Smart Clock 2 features an optional wireless dock and users need to purchase separately and the same features an ambient night light. It also supports Google Assistant.
It is powered by a MediaTek MT8167S and the same paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage.
