LG Announces New OLED and LCD Displays At CES

We already witnessed for many new announcements from the CES 2019, now the South Korean electronics giant LG has announced 11 new OLED and LCD displays at the event. Well, the announced displays have the range from gigantic TVs to portable displays. So, without wasting any time let’s dive into the article to check out all the new announcements of the company.

Let’s start with the 88-inch 8K Crystal Sound OLED display, it sports an embedded 3.2.2 channel sound system. Well, that means sound emanates from the screen itself and there is no need of any dedicated speakers. The company has expanded its 8K display lineup with a 65-inch OLED variant, along with 65- and 75-inch LCD variants. The company has also announced a 65-inch Ultra HD Crystal Motion OLED display with a response time of 3.5m/s.

LG also showcased an 86-inch electronic whiteboard display which is also a huge touch display, and the company mentioned that the display would be available for commercial use. That’s not all, the company also announced a 12.3-inch transparent OLED panel with 45 percent transparency. and a 12.3-inch Quad HD P-OLED Center Information Display (CID), however, didn’t shared much information.

The company also unveiled a 27-inch Neo Art portable display and that will sound like the display wirelessly connects to other devices, and the screen also features a USB Type-C port. Along with that, the company also announced a 27-inch Ultra HD LCD monitor with 2.8mm bezels on the top, left, and right sides. The company also unveiled a 13.3-inch Ultra HD LCD display, which features hourly power consumption of just 2.8 watts. LG also announced that it will use oxide backplanes in high-resolution laptop and monitor displays.
