Recently, the Chinese brands Oppo and Xiaomi reported working on the smartphone with the real in-display front camera, and the efforts is to deliver the full experience. Well, now we got a new piece of information which suggests LG is gearing up to adopt the new setup to offer full screen experience.
The South Korean electronics brand LG has filed a patent at KIPO (Korean Intellectual Property Office) which hints that the company is also working on a smartphone with an in-display front camera technology which sounds promising.
Illustration of the patent is also available and that shows two different views, and the first one reveals a smartphone with an edge to edge display and there’s no notch. However, the second illustration suggests when the camera application is toggled, the front camera works under the display i.e. punch hole setup.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any other information about the device at this moment of time. But we believe that the company will launch the device very soon. As the IFA event is inching closer and we can expect that the company may show off the device during the event. Let’s wait and see and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates at your fingertips.
