Google is rolling out the material theme for Google Chrome which can be enabled manually.
Google has been working on a refining Chrome web browser for a long time. During April, Google started on creating a refreshed design for the Android version and Desktop version of chrome. Finally, Google announced that the new material theme will be rolled out during September.
The new theme will be differentiated by material theme with round corners and lot more minimal updates. The tabs will also consist of new overview horizontally similar to the app switcher on Android Pie.
The search bar is also diffed with the pill-shaped search bar and minimal tabs. The new is located at the left side of the webpage. The logged in account avatar is moved to the bottom so that top right corner looks clean and spacious for showing extensions.
Before the official rollout, you can see the changes on your devices by following simple steps. Copy the URL and paste it into the search bar. Then you will be able to see the Chrome Modern Design and click on enable. It’s over restart your browser and view the changes on your devices.
