Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone called Mi 9 Lite, and the company has launched the device for the global market. The new smartphone is the same Mi CC9 which was launched a couple of months ago in the market of China which means both the devices are identical in terms of the design and specifications.
Specifications of Mi 9 Lite
It sports a 6.39 inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2340×1080) resolution and 403 ppi. It has 19.5:9 aspect ratio with waterdrop notch design, along with 600 nits of brightness. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710e octa core processor clocked at 2.3Ghz, along with Adreno 616 GPU. Gaming performance is more optimized on this 710e as compared to other similar processors. It has 4/6GB of RAM with 64/128GB storage options.
Speaking about the camera, the Mi 9 Lite has a triple camera sensor at the back. The Primary one is 48MP Sony sensor with an f/1.9 lens and 1.6μ sensor. The secondary one is an 8MP telephoto sensor with 2X optical zoom, 8X hybrid zoom, and f/2.4 lens. Lastly, the third one is 2MP wide-angle sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, there is 32MP camera with advanced AI functionalities, Xiaomi’s own AR Emoji, named as Mimoji. We are expecting some good selfies because of Meitu’s software processing.
This device runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 on top. It packs in a 4030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The fingerprint sensor is placed below the display. It has glass back with designer finish, which changes the colour shade by tilting the phone. For connectivity, it has 4G, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, aptX HD, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Type-C port.
Pricing and availability
It is priced at EUR 319 for the 4GB RAM variant, and EUR 249 for the 6GB RAM option. The Mi 9 Lite will go on reservation in Spain starting September 20.
