The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has joined its hand with one of the most popular instant messaging application Line and the partnership unveiled a limited edition of the Mi 9 SE. The company has launched a special Brown Bear edition of the Mi 9 SE smartphone, it comes with a customized manner, as the company has implemented the character’s logo on the rear side of the device.
Having said that, not only the smartphone is coming with the special customize setup. The company has also made custom LINE FRIENDS theme and it also comes with a special packaging which includes a 10,000 mAh Power Bank, certificate, and stickers of all the bearing the LINE FRIENDS character.
Apart from this customization and inclusion of the additional elements into the package, everything remains the same. Which means the device has the same specifications including the processor which we sow in the original Mi 9 SE, if you are aware about the specification details then you can read below.
Starting off with the display, it sports a 5.97 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 2340×1080 resolution, 432 ppi, and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It follows the same route of water drop notch from Mi 9. All this is covered with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with Qualcomm’ Snapdragon 712 octa core processor clocked at 2.3Ghz, built on 10nm process and has Adreno 616 GPU. This Mi 9 SE limited edition only has 6 GB of RAM with a storage option of 128 GB.
Talking about the camera, it also has a triple camera setup but the internals are not the same as Mi 9, slightly downgraded. It has 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 0.8µm pixel size. It is exactly the same as Mi 9. The second camera is a 13MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.4 aperture. Lastly, the third camera is an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. It can shoot 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p at 30,60 and 120fps, and 720p at 960fps. On the front, there is a single 20MP camera with f/2.0 lens and 0.9µm pixel size.
This Mi 9 SE comes with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with MIUI 10 on top. It packs a 3,070 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It has the new Game Turbo feature which will maximize the CPU and GPU performance for better gaming without heating much. It also lacks the support of 3.5mm headphone jack. Regarding security, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock. For connectivity, it has 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, an infrared sensor, aptX HD and USB Type-C port.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, the Mi 9 SE Brown Bear edition is priced at CNY 2499 and the device will be available from April 9. Having said that, at you guys can able to pre-order the special edition of the smartphone today onwards.
