Earlier today, Xiaomi launched two new audio products for the Indian market and these are – Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) and Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro. The portable speaker was available in certain markets but the Neckband made its global debut in India.
Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W)
It sports a rectangular shape with a mesh design on the speaker grills. The set of two 8W speakers deliver an output of 16W and even provides choices between different sound profiles such as normal or deep bass. If you want you can synchronise the music playback with another Mi speaker to create a stereo effect. The myriad of physical buttons on the speaker can be used to power on/off, control playback or volume, toggle Bluetooth and enable stereo mode.
In terms of connectivity, it offers Bluetooth 5.0 as well as a 3.5mm audio port. The inbuilt-mic helps you attend calls and its IPX7 certified for water resistance. The 2,600 mAh cell is rated to last 13-hours at 50% volume and can be charged via the USB Type-C port.
The Xiaomi Mi Portable Bluetooth Speaker (16W) is priced at INR 2,499 and will be available in Blue and Black colours. It’s available for purchase from Mi.com and Mi Home stores and will be available on Amazon starting 1st March.
Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro
The Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro stands as an upgrade to the already available Mi Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones. It offers quite a lot of improvements for a small jump in the price tag. It supports both ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) and ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) and the company claims the noise can be dropped to just 25dB.
The 10mm audio drivers are protected with an anti-blockage net to avoid small particles getting inside. The company claims the anti-cerumen design helps keep the buds free of ear-wax. The 150mAh battery is rated to last up to 20 hours if played at 50% of the total volume. It also comes with an IPX5 rating for splash resistance. It supports Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity but loses out on the charging port as it has a Micro-USB port. It weighs 36 grams and comes in a solid blue colour.
The Xiaomi Mi Neckband Bluetooth Earphones Pro will retail for INR 1,799 and will be available on Mi.com, various Mi Homes and Amazon from today and will arrive to other leading retailers from the 1st of March.

Its like you read my mind! You appear to know
so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something.
I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a bit, but instead
of that, this is wonderful blog. A fantastic read.
I’ll certainly be back.
Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no data backup.
Do you have any solutions to stop hackers?
Hey this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use
WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.
I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to
get guidance from someone with experience. Any help
would be enormously appreciated!
