Everything about Moto G17 series
Both the latest Moto G17 and Moto G17 phones come with the power of the MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme processor and the devices run on the Android 15 operating system. The devices come with 4GB or 8GB of physical RAM along with Motorola’s RAM Boost feature that offers up to 8GB or 16GB of additional virtual RAM, depending on the variant. The devices come with 128GB and 256GB, with support for microSD cards up to 1TB.

You will be getting a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 60Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Motorola devices come with an IP64 rating for dust resistance and protection against water splashes and Pantone colours.
The Moto G17 series features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, 0.8µm pixel size, and 1.6µm effective pixels after pixel binning along with a 5MP ultra-wide camera with an f/1.88 aperture and 0.8µm pixels. A third rear sensor handles ambient light detection and flicker reduction. The camera department supports HDR, Night Vision, Pro Mode, Panorama, Portrait, Live Filter, Watermark, Timer, and Google Lens integration. Battery capacity makes the difference between the devices as the Moto G17 includes a 5200mAh battery, while the Moto G17 Power uses a larger 6000 mAh battery. The Moto G17 supports 18W TurboPower charging while the Moto G17 Power features 30W TurboPower charging. The devices support stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and a built-in microphone. The devices come with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 802.11 a, b, g, n, and ac with support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, NFC, FM radio, and USB Type-C.
Motorola offers the new devices with a fingerprint reader, face unlock, Moto Secure, and ThinkShield protection. The devices also support Moto gestures, and Google Gemini voice control. Location services support GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
The latest Moto G17 Power and Moto G17 are launching in select EMEA markets. The Moto G17 is priced starting at £149.99 in the UK for the 4GB/128GB variant, while the 8GB/128GB model costs €199.99 in Germany. There is no information about the pricing of the Moto G17 Power.
