Just a couple of days ago, we updated that the Lenovo owned Motorola will launch three smartphones in the ‘P series’ in China on August 15. That said, the ‘P series’ a new lineup of the Motorola, and yesterday’s leak of Moto P30 revealed that it’s coming with the trendy features. Well, as updated earlier, today the company has unveiled the Moto P30, but no word about the other two devices i.e. P30 Play and P30 Note.
The device is inspired by the iPhone X, as it has the similarity. The company has launched the device in two variants and it is also focused to the game lovers. So, let’s check out the complete specification details along with the pricing and availability of the newly launched devices.
Specification of Moto P30
The Moto P30 sports 6.2 inch Full HD + display with a 19:9 aspect ratio, the device also has a 2.5D curved Glass on top along with the notch. The device is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor and paired with 6 GB of RAM, and the device has AI-powered graphics acceleration. In terms of storage, the device is coming in two storage variants – 64 GB and 128 GB of internal storage, and can be expandable upto 256 GB via microSD card.
Moving to the photography department, the device has 16 megapixel + 5 megapixel dual camera at the back with f/1.8 aperture, AI portrait mode, scene recognition, AR mode and LED flash. That said, the rear camera placement exactly looks like the iPhone X. The smartphone also has 12 megapixel front facing camera with LED flash. As I mentioned above, that the device has AI-powered graphics acceleration, which means it will give a smooth gaming experience. The device does come with the fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature to give the extra layer of protection. Moreover, the device also features a water-repellent nano-coating.
Talking about the connectivity, the device has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The Moto P30 is backed on a 3,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo which is based on ZUI 4.0. The device will be available in three colour options; black, white and a purple + blue gradient colour. And the most important thing, the company says that the device is designed for China. Well, this indicates that the company is not planning to launch this device outside the Chinese market.
Pricing and availability
Speaking about the pricing and availability of the device, the 64 GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,099 (approx Rs 21,300) and the 128 GB storage variant will cost CNY 2,499 (approx Rs 25,400). The device will be available in China from September 15.
