The developers of the Mountain View company Google bring something new on a daily basis and today the developers have updated the existing feature called Nearby Share and the same will allow users to share applications as well.

The feature was introduced in the month of August last year and it is a reply to the Apple’s Airdrop feature and this particular feature enables users to share photos or links or any other content to A device which is neer you.

Well, now the company has updated the feature and brings the ability to share applications to the nearby devices and this means there will be no mediators, as we have plenty of applications which enables users to share application from one phone to another but with the new implementation, there is no need to have a specific application for this particular person.

How to share applications via Nearby Share

You can access the feature by launching the Play Store and go to My Apps. And this particular area of the application will offer a new tab called Share next to Library (if the feature has already available to you) then you need to select the tab, then it will provide options to send or receive apps.

It is worth to mention that the users are required to turn on the location services and if you choose to send, you will be landed on a screen that lists all your installed apps. Now you need to select the specific application which you want to send and press the green button at the top right corner of the screen.

Having said that, the feature will available on the devices which are running on Android 6.0 or above.
