The popular gaming products maker Alienware has officially launched its new gaming monitor dubbed the Alienware AW2724DM, and the same features a 27-inch IPS panel along with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate (DisplayPort(OC) as well as a swift 1ms response time. The latest gaming monitor offers excellent color accuracy, covering 99% of the sRGB color space, 95% of the DCI-P3 color space, and 100% of the Rec. 709 color gamut. It is also having a brightness of 350 cdm2 and a contrast ratio of 10001.
The gaming monitor features DisplayHDR 400 True Black, enhancing the dynamic range for better contrast and depth. It also supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies.
It is also supporting two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, a USB-C upstream port, and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The monitor features two 5W speakers as well.
The gaming monitor also supports Alienware ComfortView Plus which will reduce blue light emissions without compromising color accuracy, Alienware Game Shift, allowing quick performance adjustments with a dedicated button, and Alienware Sound Center, enabling customization of audio settings.
It is having a price tag of $399 in the market of the United States, while it costs €489 in the Eurozone.
